Day 1 Istanbul: Arrival in Istanbul, meet and greet Concept Voyages' representative and transfer to hotel. Byzantium, Constantinople, Istanbul, by any name the city is as glorious. After a short rest departure for Bosphorus Cruise and Egyptian Bazaar tour. Enjoy the Bosphorus Cruise, through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residentials and luxurious apartments. This is a relaxing way to take in some major landmarks including the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, the Bosphorus Suspension Bridge and the imposing waterfront villas of Istanbul. We end the tour with a visit to the Rumeli Fortress. Built by Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452 prior to the conquest of Istanbul, it is an impressive work of ancient military architecture. Overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 2 Istanbul: After breakfast, proceed for the full day city tour including Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace and St. Sophia. This guided walking tour of old Istanbul. Stating with Haghia Sophia, the most influential church of Byzantium. Originally built by Emperor Constantine in the 4th century, it still stands today as one of the world's greatest architectural marvels. Next visit the Blue Mosque, another of the world's most important religious buildings. Built in the 16th century the mosque is unique for it's 6 minarets and it's celestial interior decorated with the famous blue Iznik tiles. We then visit the Hippodrome, scene of chariot races. Although little remains of the great stadium which, in its hey day, is thought to have held 100.000 people, the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine are the highlights. Towards the end of your tour visit the Grand Bazaar, a mind-boggling labyrinth of 4000 tiny shops selling jewellery, antiques, carpets, leatherwear and souvenirs. Lunch included in the tour. Drop back after the hotel after the tour. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 Istanbul: After breakfast, free at leisure for exploring Istanbul on your own. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 Istanbul-Izmir: After breakfast, checkout and transfer to Istanbul airport for boarding flight to Izimir. Meet and greet on arrival by concept voyages representative, transfer to the hotel and check-in the hotel. At the beginning of the 20th century Izmir was a centre of commerce and entertainment rivaling Istanbul and Salonica in the hierarchy of Ottoman cities and famous for its raisins and seedless grapes, its almonds, its horse drawn phaetons, its spring festival, its "gold drop'' Eau de Cologne and nargiles or water-pipes. Free afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 5 Izmir: After breakfast at hotel, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Ephesus including ruins and St Mary’s House. The best preserved and restored ancient city in Turkey: You will visit to Ephesus which is known to be the Commercial, the Religious and the Social Center of Antiquity, and one of the Highlights of any Visit in Turkey. Ephesus is probably the best combination of Greek, Roman and Byzantine civilizations. With the mythological stories and spectacular ruins you will feel the life in ancient Ephesus. You will visit the Fountains of Trojan, Polio, the Temples of Hadrian and Domition, Private House, the Library of Celcius, Varius and Scolasticia Baths, Bouloterion and the Great Theatre with a capacity of 24.000 spectators. After enjoying the turkish cuisine at lunch, you will visit the House of Virgin Mary, where she spent last days of her life; our next stop is the Archaeological Museum of Ephesus. Drop to Kusadasi or drive back Izmir. Lunch included in the tour. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 6 Izmir - (B,L,D) After breakfast at hotel, proceed for full day sightseei
ng tour of Pergamon. Pergamon is one of the finest archaeological sites in Turkey. The city was a great center of culture and capital of East-Roman-Empire. On the Acropilis there are numerous remains including the celebrated Library, the steepest Theatre of Anatolia, the Temples of Trojan and Dionysos, the place of the monumental Altar of Zeus famous with the relief of God and devils, the Sanctuary of Demeter, the Gymnasium situated on terraces, the lower Agora. After a delicious lunch with Turkish specialties, you will visit the Archaeological Museum of Bergama, proceed to the Medical Center of the ancient world, ASCLEPION where the first psychological Treatment had been used and which was dedicated to the God of Health, Asclepios, Return to Izmir . Your tour also includes Acropol and Asclepion. Lunch included in the tour. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 7 Izmir-Istanbul: After breakfast, checkout and transfer to Antalya airport for boarding flight home.
