Hello Varsha,

First of all, thank you for the holiday gifts, which I received in Bangalore. The painting of the Charminar monument is beautiful and we will hang it in our home. The girls enjoyed the Indian tops - bright and colorful.
The trip was really great and all the reservations and itinerary could not have been better. We enjoyed all the hotels, the service was good and the Red Fort restaurant in Chennai hotel was excellent. The high points for the accommodation were the boat, the Thapovan resort at Kovalam and King's Sanctuary at Kabini and Hotel Prince Sandesh in Mysore, but every place we stayed was a new experience and we enjoyed all the accommodations. The itinerary, as a mixture of mountains, coast, cities, countryside, museums, jungle, temples, was really exciting and we could not have hoped for anything better. The area around Cloud 9 Resort in Munnar was breathtakingly beautiful. Our drivers were excellent, and we became close friends with James in Kerala and Jagdish in Karnataka. They had plenty of initiative to stop and show us villages, plantations, crops, on the way and we learned a lot from them. All the people we met -- in the streets, in villages, in the hotels -- were really nice.

The vacation was a complete success. We can't wait to come back and see more of India!
