(Munnar & Kumarakom)

 

Day 1 Cochin-Munnar (130kms, 3hrs): Arrive Cochin by flight or train. On arrival, meet and greet by Concept Voyages representative and transfer to Munnar, known as nature lover’s paradise. Enjoy the sight seeing places of Munnar. Munnar, the nature-lover’s paradise, snuggling in the green and serene Kannan Devan Hills lies the quite and restful resort of Munnar, at an altitude of 1524 m and 136 km off Cochin. Panoramic views of low-flying clouds and mist filled valleys make it a pretty little heaven with a cool bracing climate. Overnight at the Resort.

Day 2 Munnar: Breakfast at resort, proceed for sight seeing tour of Munnar. Visit, Mattupetty, Top Station, Kundala etc.. Visit Eravikulam National Park known for the Nilgiri Thar, an endangered species and Mattuppetty dam. Visit tea plantation and tea factory, to watch tea being picked, to learn how tea is processed, smell the sweet scent of tea wafting through the air and buy the tea directly from the gardens. Overnight at the Resort.

Day 3 Munnar-Kumarakom (145kms, 3hrs, 30mins): After breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed to Kumarakom, which is famous for its backwater & scenic beauty, sprinkled with traditional houseboats, country crafts, rural lifestyles and Tranquility. The slender coconut palms standing here, there and everywhere, its never ending paddy fields, meandering lagoons and backwaters, mangroves nesting birds of a hundred varieties can peacefully calm and invigorate your mind with renewed inspiration for your vocation and life. That is the pristine beauty of Kumarakom. On arrival at Kumarakom check in at the resort. Overnight at the Resort. 

Day 4 Kumarakom-Cochin: After breakfast, disembark from the boat & proceed to Cochin Railway Station or Airport for the departure transfer.
