(Nairobi-Masai Mara-Nakuru-Nairobi-Amboseli -Ngorongoro-Manyara-Arusha-Namanga)

    

Day 1 Nairobi: Traditional African welcome on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, by Concept Voyages representative. Transfer and check in to Hotel Intercontinental. Rest of the day is free at leisure and overnight stay at hotel.

  

Day 2 Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve: After breakfast at hotel, proceed for morning drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s finest and best known game reserve. Lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Evening proceed for game viewing drive. The greatest attraction in Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion's roar, a cheetah making a kill, and the big elephant herds are all breath taking events. You will also meet the Maasai tribes who are the inhabitants of this reserve and are a proud and largely aloof tribe. They have held on to their customs and traditions for over a hundreds of years. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 3 Masai Mara National Reserve: Early morning game viewing drive in the rolling hills, woodlands and rivers that make up the Mara in search of more game. The animals are more active at this time of the day. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Morning at leisure to relax by the pool. Have a buffet lunch at the lodge. Afternoon proceed for game viewing drive in the reserve in search of more wildlife. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
 
Day 4 Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru National Park
: Buffet breakfast at the lodge. Morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. welcome drink and check-in on arrival at Lake Nakuru Lodge. After lunch, proceed for a game viewing drive in the park. The Lake Nakuru National Park is world famous for the pink flamingos which number thousands upon thousands. The rare black rhino, the white rhino and many other wild animals can also be found here. There is a very high chance of seeing the nocturnal and very elusive leopard. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
 

Day 5 Nakuru-Nairobi-Amboseli: After early breakfast at the lodge, check-out and proceed to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. The drive takes you through the Masailand to Amboseli National Park which nestles at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. Arrive at the lodge, have welcome drink and check in to lodge. Enjoy the Buffet lunch at Amboseli Serena lodge. Depart for afternoon game viewing drive in the Park. Animals found in this Park includes, giraffe, zebra - are common in national parks throughout Africa and easily recognized due to their striking white and black stripes. Burchell's zebra is the more common subspecies, with gray "shadow" stripes, while the rarer Crawshay's zebra (found in Zambia's South Luangwa) lack these., elephant, buffalo, wildebeest amongst others. Evening return to lodge for an early dinner and retire at Amboseli Serena lodge for overnight stay.
 

Day 6 Amboseli National Park: Early morning proceed for game viewing drive in the Park with Mount Kilimanjaro in the back ground. Return to the lodge for buffet breakfast and relax at leisure by the pool. After a sumptuous lunch, proceed for afternoon game viewing drive in the Park. Evening is free at leisure for personal activities. dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
 
Day 7 Amboseli-Arusha-Ngorongoro: After breakfast check-out and proceed to Namanga - Kenya/ Tanzania border. Meet and greet on arrival by Concept Voyages' representative, at the border and transfer to Arusha. After lunch at Hotel Impala, proceed for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge.

 

Day 8 Ngorongoro Conservation Area- crater tour : After breakfast at the lodge, descend down the Ngorongoro crater for a Full Day Crater Tour with picnic (packed) lunches. Three million years ago, Ngorongoro, one of the highest peaks in Africa, towered alongside Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania. Our earliest ancestors witnessed the restless volcano’s collapse, forming what is today the world’s largest intact caldera (likened to a giant shop bowl with a flat base and steep sides). Today, Ngorongoro remains a place of drama and beauty. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a fully integrated region embraces the social and developmental needs of the Maasai people, along with wildlife conservation and the sensitive development of ecotourism. Some of mankind’s’ earliest ancestors once lived in the Ngorongoro area, and the nearby fossil sites of Olduvai Gorge are described as “the cradle of mankind”. One hundred and fifty years ago the Maasai, of Nilotic descent, defeated the resident Datoga people and moved into the area. Today, more than 40 000 predominantly Maasai pastoralist inhabits the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, tending their herds of cattle, sheep and goats, and living in peaceful co-existence with the wildlife. Return back to lodge in the evening before sunset and for an early dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge.
 
Day 9 Ngorongoro-Lake Manyara National Park: After breakfast proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Check-in to Lake Manyara Serena lodge. Late afternoon after lunch, proceed for a game viewing drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

 

Day 10 Arusha-Namanga-Nairobi: Breakfast at the lodge. Departure transfer by driving back to Arusha. Stop for lunch at Hotel Impala and transfer to Namanga border. Received by Concept Voyages' representative and proceed to Nairobi. Upon arrival into Nairobi, you will be transferred to the airport.

Zebra - are common in national parks throughout Africa and easily recognized due to their striking white and black stripes. They can grow up to two meters. They eat grass, berries and seeds and normally live in family groups. Males are coloured white and black, while females are of a brownish colour.Mount Kilimanjaro- At 19,340 feet(5,895m)above sea level, the summit of Africa's highest mountain offers an ever-changing view to the world.Male Impala - They are an excellent sprinter and can outrun many predators. Males have impressive horns which are mainly used for fights over females rather than as a defence weapon. Rhinoceros- are the rarest of all large mammals in Africa. There are two sub-species, the white rhino and the black rhino. Hunted to near-extinction in the 1970s and 1980s, herds have been reintroduced into select parks around the continent and are now slowing growing again.Lion cub -cubs are dependent on their mother for up two years and they start to enjoy hunting when they are about 11 months old. Lions are social cats and live in prides of 3-30 lions consisting of 1-4 males and several femalesNgorongoro Crater - is a world heritage site, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is commonly referred to as the 8th wonder of the world.
