(Nairobi-Amboseli-Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara)

  

Day 1: Nairobi: Traditional African welcome on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, by Concept Voyages' representative. Transfer and check in to Hotel Intercontinental. rest of the day is free at leisure and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi-Amboseli National Park: After breakfast at hotel, check-out and drive to Amboseli National Park. The drive takes you through the Masailand to Amboseli National Park which nestles at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. Welcome drink and check-in on arrival at Amboseli Serena lodge. After a buffet lunch at lodge, proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive in the Park. Animals found in this Park includes, giraffe, zebra, elephant, buffalo, wildebeest amongst others. Return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena lodge.
 
Day 3: Amboseli National Park: Early morning game viewing drive in the Park with Mount Kilimanjaro in the back ground. Return to the lodge for buffet breakfast. Morning at leisure to relax by the pool. Buffet lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game viewing drive in the Park, till evening. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Amboseli-Lake Nakuru National Park: After an early breakfast, check out and drive via Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. Welcome drink and check-in on arrival at Lake Nakuru lodge. After a sumptuous buffet lunch at lodge, proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive in the National Park. This National Park is world renowned for its population of flamingos which number thousands upon thousands. Other wild animals found in this park include the Rhino, Lion - are common in the wider part of Africa and can be best seen in Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara.Lions hunt early in the morning or in the night and during the day they allow themselves to be lazy. To see them in action you have to get up before the crack of dawn or you see them only resting after a big dinner, Cheetah - are the fastest hunters in Africa. Cheetahs usually travel alone or in small groups consisting of mother and offspring. They hunt in the cool hours of the day. The preferred prey is Impala, but birds are on the lunch menu as well and the most elusive of the cats, the Leopard. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park: Proceed for early morning game viewing drive in the Park. Return to the lodge for buffet breakfast, and later morning at leisure to relax by the pool. Buffet lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game viewing drive in the Park. Return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara National Reserve: Have an early breakfast at the lodge. Depart for Masai Mara, Kenya's finest and best known game reserve. Buffet lunch at Mara Sopa lodge- a first class lodge built in African architecture. Afternoon proceed for game viewing drive in the Reserve. The greatest attraction in Masai Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion's roar, a cheetah making a kill, a leopard with it's kill high up on a tree, and the big elephant herds mingling freely with other plains game are all very fascinating events. There are very high chances of seeing all the 'big five'. You will also meet the Maasai tribes who are the inhabitants of this reserve and are a proud and largely aloof tribe who have held on to their customs and traditions for over a hundreds of years. Return to the lodge Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve: Early morning game viewing drive in the rolling hills, woodlands and rivers that make up the Mara in search of more game. The animals are more active at this time of the day. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Morning at leisure to relax by the pool. Have a buffet lunch at the lodge. Afternoon proceed for game viewing drive in the reserve in search of more wildlife. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Masai Mara-Nairobi: After breakfast, depart and drive to Nairobi. This drive takes you through the floor of the Great Rift Valley and past the escarpment where your driver guide will stop at strategic viewpoint for photography. Upon arrival into Nairobi, you will be transferred to the airport for your international departure flight.

Mount Kilimanjaro -Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest peak and the world's highest free-standing mountain. it has become a major destination for mountaineers and trekkers from around the world.

Lion - are common in the wider part of Africa and can be best seen in Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti and to a lesser extent in South Africa. To see them in action you have to get up before the crack of dawn or you see them only resting after a big dinner.

Giraffe - are the tallest mammals on earth. Males reach a height of up to 5.2 metres and females 4.7 metres. Giraffes have a maximum mass of 1400 kg. Giraffes are browsers and can reach leaves that are not accessible by any other ground-based mammal. To maintain such an enormous size as herbivores giraffes eat for up to 20 hours a day and rest only during the hottest hours of the day.

Zebra - are common in national parks throughout Africa and easily recognized due to their striking white and black stripes. Burchell's zebra is the more common subspecies, with gray "shadow" stripes, while the rarer Crawshay's zebra (found in Zambia's South Luangwa) lack these.

Wildbeest - small groups and are seasonal breeders. Offspring arrive from November to February and are born within the herd. Calves may be defended fiercely against any attacker.

Maasai tribe - The title Maasai derives from the word Maa. Maa-sai means my people.

Maasai Dance -  an indigenous African tribe of semi-nomadic people located primarily in Kenya and northern Tanzania, are probably one of the most familiar tribes of East Africa. Despite the growth of modern civilization, the Maasai have largely managed to maintain their traditional ways, although this becomes more challenging each year.
