One of the holiest Hindu shrines in the world, the fabulous pagoda temple houses the linga (phallic symbol) of Lord Shiva. A short drive to east is Boudhanath, a massive stupa, is one of largest of its kind. The place is alive with hymn- chanting, spinning prayer wheels and scores of people circumambulating here provide excellent exposure to Tibetan culture. On return we will stop for lunch in Durbar Marg. We next drive to Narayanthan temple, a temple of famous resting Vishnu, followed by a visit of Syambhunath Stupa to the west of city. The stupa,
which watches over the valley from the top of a hillock, is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal. Its establishment is linked to the creation of Kathmandu valley. You get to enjoy a very good view of Kathmandu valley from here. Sightseeing timing

Day 3 Chitwan: After breakfast, proceed enjoying Jungle activities at Royal Chitwan National Park. The flora and fauna of Chitwan makes it a great place for nature lovers. Chitwan has over 50 different species of mammals, 400 different species of birds, and 65 different types of butterflies in its hardwood Sal forests, riverine vegetation, and "elephant grass" savannah. More than 70 different species of grass grow here. The most famous wildlife in Chitwan is perhaps the single-horned Asian rhinoceros. Enjoy elephant ride, Jeep Safari and bird watching at Chitwan. All meals on board at Chitwan. Overnight stay at Jungle resort.
Day 4 Chitwan-Manokamna-Kathmandu: After breakfast, drive to Manokamna temple. Combining scenic grandeur and spiritualism is the Manokamna Temple, which is a three-hour drive away from Kathmandu, the roadsides are lined with litchi, mango and other fruit trees. Later take a cable car to reach the shrine. That half-hour gives you a grand scenic trip across many hills and a river. Here again the façade of the temple is distinctly Buddhist. People from many religions worship here and ask the goddess (on the floor covered with heaps of flowers) for favours the priest assures you that prayers will be answered, the reason why it is called "Manokamna". Outside the temple it is shady, with eating-places and a huge sampangi (champa) tree shedding petals and spreading its fragrance. Return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 Kathmandu departure: Wake up early morning for a steaming tea/coffee and a savory breakfast. Depart to Kathmandu airport to board flight home
