Day 1
Milan: Meet and greet on arrival at Milan by Concept Voyages' representative and transfer to
hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 Milan: After breakfast, proceed for Milan city tour. A pleasant stroll to visit the most famous places of Milan. Piazza della Scala and Galleria, the city's splendid parlor. From the Brera Art Gallery in search of inestimable masterpieces of Italian art. Visit the famous fresco “The Last Supper by Leonardo da
Vinci". Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 Milan-Venice: After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel by train to Venice. Evening take a romantic “promenade” by gondola with music and songs, which will make you dream along the canals of Venice. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 Venice: After breakfast proceed for Murano & Burano excursion. Departure from Alilaguna’s Pier St. Marks waterfront with motorboat and visit to first Island Murano, where one can watch the antique art of making glass. Then one proceeds to the characteristic Island of Burano, with its strong colours and light contrast, fisher island and renowned for the lace making. Last Island
Torcello with its old Cathedral and its atmosphere of remote venitian past. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 Venice-Florence-Pisa: After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel by train to Florence.
Proceed for Pisa Excursion. A splendid excursion through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside to the historic university city of Pisa, famous for its architectural beauty. Upon arrival in Pisa, guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli, with the celebrated Leaning Tower (exterior), the Baptistery (exterior) and other important monuments. This is followed by a visit to the interior of the Cathedral, an unrivalled masterpiece of Romanesque art constructed between the 11th and 12th centuries. Free time at your disposal. Day 6 Florence-Naples: After breakfast, checkout and take a train to Naples. Free day at leisure at Naples. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 Naples: After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the famous Island of Ana Capri with Blue Grotto. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8 Naples-Rome: After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel by train to Rome. Proceed for Roma Night tour. Discover some of the main monuments of the Eternal City in the romantic atmosphere of times past. Some of the sights you pass include The Fountain of the Nayads, the Exhibition Palace, Piazza Venezia with its Tomb to the Unknown Soldier and the Capitoline Hill. Glimpse the imperial Roman Age as you drive by and admire the Roman Forum, the Colosseum the Arch of Constantine and the Circus Maximus. Leap into the Papal Era when, driving along the banks of the Tiber you see the Jewish Quarter complete with synagogue and the imposing Castel St. Angelo close by that heralds your approach to St. Peter’s. Set in the ancient Aurelian Walls that frame part of the Villa Borghese park you’ll see a couple of the most beautiful gateways in Rome: Porta Flamini through which you can admire the Piazza del
Popolo and Porta Pinciana through which you reach the famous Via Veneto symbol of
”la dolce vita” in Rome. There will be two stops on this tour: at Piazza Navona to see
Bernini's beautiful Fountain of the Four Rivers and at the Trevi Fountain so that you can keep up the tradition of throwing coins into the fountain. Return to
hotel, for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9 Rome: After breakfast free day at leisure to explore Rome on your own. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 Rome: After breakfast, proceed for Classical tour of Rome. Your tour covers Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Navona, Square St. Peter’s Basilica (with Papal Blessing on Sundays) an itinerary by coach and on foot to visit the classical monuments Of Rome. Crossing Piazza Della Repubblica with the fountain of the Nayads. Our local guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the historical centre, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain. The Colonna of Marco Aurelio, Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon (Visit inside), Palazzo Madama –seat of the senate, and
Piazza Navona. Passing alongside Castel S.Angelo our coach will take you to the Basilica of
St. Peter* (Visit inside except when there are religious celebrations) Where you can admire one of Michelangelo’s Magnificent works of art – “La Pieta”. Return
back to the hotel, for overnight stay. Entrance to Churches requires appropriate
attire.
Day 11 Rome departure: After breakfast checkout and transfer to the airport for your onward flight home.
