Day 1
Guwahati: Meet and greet on
arrival by Concept Voyages' representative at Guwahati Airport/railway station
and transfer to hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 Guwahati-Kaziranga (4hrs): After breakfast proceed to Kaziranga National Park. Lying along the
mighty Brahmaputra River, the Kaziranga National Park covers an area of
about 430 sq. km. Its swamps and grasslands with tall thickets of elephant
grass and patches of evergreen forest support the largest number of rhino
in the subcontinent. As the mist lifts and the rising sun touches the
hills in the distance, herds of Barasingha and wild buffalo are to be seen
in the marshes. The most ferocious bovine in the world, the massive wild
buffalo is impressive and can weigh up to 915 kg. Rhinos browse
unconcernedly as the visitors pass by and an occasional herd of elephants
or wild boar is also sighted.

Day 3 Kaziranga: After breakfast participate in Jungle
activities. Kaziranga national park is a vast stretch of coarse, tall elephant grass, marshland and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests. The national park is home also to elephants, sloth bears, tigers, leopards, jungle cats, hog badgers, capped langurs, hoolock gibbons, wild boars, jackals, porcupines, pythons, water buffaloes, Indian bison, swamp deer, sambar deers and hog deer. Kaziranga is an outstanding example of the ongoing eco-biological processes in the evolution and development of the flood plain ecosystem and its plant and animal communities.

Day 4 Kaziranga-Shillong (6hrs): After breakfast proceed to
Shillong.

Day 5 Shillong: Take a Day trip after breakfast at hotel,
to Cherrapunjee Waterfalls, Cave, Lake. 56 kms
from Shillong, situated in one of the rainiest rain-belt in the world,
1,300 meters above sea level. Cherupunjee's oranges and honey are famous and from the Sohra market you can pick up some fine baskets. A pleasant drive to see roaring water falls
leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang falls. The
lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves and orange honey.
Centre of Khasi culture and literature, it also has the oldest
Presbyterian Church and also an establishment of the Ramkrishna Mission.

Day 6 Shillong-Guwahati (2.5hrs): Proceed to Guwahati local sightseeing
after breakfast at hotel.
Situated on the bank of the mighty river Brahmaputra, Guwahati - said to
be the legendary Pragjyotishpur or City of Eastern Light - is the gateway
to north eastern India.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 Departure for Guwahati railway station/airport for return
journey.
