 Ladakh is a mountainous region in North-West India and in the area known as the Trans-Himalaya. It has many nicknames, Moonland, Little Tibet, and various Shangrala comparisons all very true to its image. The main tourist sites relate to Tibetan Buddhism, and to the stunning landscape. Ladakh is an excellent trekking area for experienced trekkers.

 

Day 1 Leh: On arrival at Leh airport, meet and greet by Concept Voyages' representative and transfer you to hotel. Lunch at hotel. Complete day for rest to get acclimatize with the high altitude in Leh (Ladakh) which is 3500 Mtrs above sea level. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 Leh: After breakfast proceed for half day tour of Spituk - situated 7 km west of the Ladakhi capital Leh is one of the key Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Buddhist monasteries and Phyang Monastery by Jeep. Return back to hotel for lunch. Afternoon visit King's Palace is nine storeys high; the upper floors accommodated the royal family, the stables and store rooms are located in the lower floors, Leh Mosque, Leh Gompa - Meditation rooms in urban Buddhist centres are often referred to as gompas and Leh Bazar. In the evening return back to hotel, for overnight stay.

Day 3 Leh-Khardongla Pass-Leh (85 Kms): After breakfast day excursion to Khardung La (La means Pass in Tibetan, the local language) located in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, India, is a high motorable mountain pass rising to a height of 5,359 m and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of world records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. In the evening return back to the hotel, for overnight stay.
 
Day 4 Leh Departure: After breakfast transfer in time to the airport to connect onwards destination flight.
