Day 1 Jammu: Meet and
greet on arrival at Jammu railway station by Concept Voyages'
representative and proceed to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 Jammu-Srinagar: Morning transfer to
Jammu bus stand for 7-8 hours drive to Srinagar. At Srinagar
bus stand, you will be met by Concept Voyages' representative and transferred to
a Deluxe houseboat. Overnight stay at houseboat.
Day 3 Srinagar (50kms): Half day tour of world
famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) -this 'garden of bliss' commands a magnificent
view of the lake and the snow capped Pir Panjal mountain range which
stands far away to the west of the valley and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love)
-once known as "Aizzabad-Bagh". Return to houseboat for hot lunch. In
the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake -
world famous water body has been described as Lake Par-Excellence by Sir Walter Lawrence to enjoy the beauty that God
has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. Along most of
the shore of the lake is a boulevard, lined with Mughal-era gardens &
parks. Overnight at
houseboat.
Day 4 Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar (112kms): Full day tour of
Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. It
is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world
and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the
snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to
Khalinmarg In the evening return to houseboat, for overnight stay.
Day 5 Srinagar-Sonmarg-Srinagar (196kms): Full day excursion to
Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we
stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow
of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow
remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the
evening return to houseboat, for overnight stay.
Day 6 Srinagar-Pahalgam-Srinagar (186kms): Full day excursion
to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulpher spring. Pahalgam is the most famous
place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. In
the evening return back to houseboat, for overnight stay.
Day 7 Srinagar-Katra (268kms): Drive (6-7hrs) to Katra early in
the morning and check in at hotel. After refresh leave for
Vaishno Deviji temple for Darshan. Return to the hotel during mid night
for overnight stay.
Day 8 Katra-Jammu (50kms): Morning free at leisure for shopping and personal activities.
Departure transfer to Jammu railway station, for onwards destination.
