Day 1 Bangalore:
Meet and greet on arrival at
Bangalore Airport / Railway
station
by Concept Voyages' representative and
transfer to hotel. Bangalore known as
Garden city. Afternoon proceed for a sightseeing tour of Bangalore, Bull
Temple to view the awesome monolithic deity which draws devotees from all
over the country and evening walk around the city and time for shopping.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Bangalore: Morning tour of Bangalore city. A visit to
the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens is noteworthy, drive past the Vidhan Sabha,
which houses the state Legislative Assembly and part of the secretariat,
Cubbon Park, Ulsoor Lake and Commercial Street. Afternoon free at leisure for
shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Bangalore-Mysore (139kms): In the
morning drive to Mysore Enroute visit Srirangapatna where the legendary
warrior Tipu Sultan built an exquisite summer palace. On arrival check in
at the hotel and afternoon proceed for a visit of Mysore Maharaja’s
Palace, once the residence of the Wodeyars of Karnataka- it is reminiscent
of Mysore’s glorious past which you will witness in the carved silver
doors a solid gold throne and gallery of exquisite paintings. St.
Philomena’s Church. In the evening visit the illuminated Brindavan
Gardens. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 Mysore-Ooty (
Udhagamandalam) (159kms): In the
morning drive to Ooty - "Queen of Hill stations" nestled in the Nilgiri range and popularly known as Ooty.
A Britisher Mr. John Sullivan
discovered Ooty in 1821; the sheer grandeur of this romantic city is
enough to drain anyone out. Afternoon arrive at hotel and rest of the day
at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Ooty : Morning half day tour of the
Botanical Gardens and the Museum with the numerous varieties of ornamental
trees and plants is an attraction for all tourists, one can see the best
profiles of nature, and each embedded with a distinctive grandeur. It's
the majestic waterfalls, never-ending forests, and beautiful tea gardens,
lush green meadows, placid lake, manicured golf courses that are really
spellbinding. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Ooty-Coonoor (17kms/2hrs): Morning take a Toy Train
ride up to Coonoor a beautiful plantation town, on
arrival check in to hotel. Proceed for a tour of Coonoor. At Coonoor the
impassable maintained Sim's Park, which hosts the annual fruit show (May
every year), Dolphin’s Nose, Lamb's Rock, Laws Falls and St. Catherine
Falls. Evening take a walk in the tea plantation. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 Coonoor-Bangalore: In the morning drive
to your nearest Railway Station / Airport Coimbatore Or a long drive to
Bangalore for your onward destination.
