Day 1 Bangalore:
Meet and greet on arrival by Concept Voyages'
representative and transfer
hotel,
afternoon visit Lalbagh-240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens, flowers
abound, rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants. Glasshouse
(built on the lines of London’s Crystal Palace) covers 18000sq feet.
Evening free at leisure for shopping and personal activities and overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 2 Bangalore: Morning after breakfast proceed for full day sight
seeing, covering, Vidhana Soudha-built in 1954 in granite, this massive
building houses the state Legislature and the Secretariat. Bull
Temple-Dravidian-style temple, has a huge monolithic Bull is the vahana of
Lord Shiva. Walk around Cubbon Park and return to hotel. Evening free at
leisure for shopping and personal activities and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 Bangalore-Mysore (3hrs/140kms): Morning after breakfast and
proceed to Mysore, enroute visit Srirangapatna- Island fortress of Tippu
Sultan, the legendary Tiger of Mysore who put up a valiant fight against
British domination. Visit Tippu’s Summer Palace, Mosque, and Sriranganatha
Temple. On arrival transfer to a Ayurvedic Resort, Proceed for
Ayurvedic Vegetarian lunch and later introductions to center, Consultation
with Doctor and treatment at 18.00hrs. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 4 Mysore: Morning treatment and breakfast at 09.00hrs. Visit to
Maharaja Palace, built in 1911-12 by Wodeyar Rulers, the palace is a
splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, among its many attractions
are a magnificent gold throne displayed during the Dasara celebrations. It
is an entirely modern structure continuing the Hindu and Saracenic styles
of Architecture. Visit to Mysore’s famous market and return to resort for
lunch. Afternoon free for optional treatment or to visit world famous
Brindavan Garden. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 5 Mysore-Cauvery Fishing Camp (110kms/3hrs): Morning
after breakfast, checkout and proceed to Cauvery fishing Camp, enroute visit
Somanathapur-famous for 13th century Hoysala temple. The star shaped
temple with three shrines named after Prasanna Channakeshava is the latest
and the best –preserved example of Hoysala architecture. On Arrival checks
in and proceeds for buffet lunch. Afternoon relax at the Camp or go for
fishing, Overnight at the Camp.
Day 6 Cauvery Fishing Camp-Bangalore: Early morning optional of trekking or fishing and return to camp at 09.00hrs for breakfast check out
and proceed to Bangalore to board your flight/train.
