Day 1 Cairo: Arrive at Cairo international Airport. Meet and greet by Concept Voyages' representative and transfer to hotel. Free evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 Cairo: After breakfast proceed for a scenic drive to the Giza Plateau to visit the Three Pyramids built by the Pharonic Kings, Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. They have stood for over 5000 years and of the Seven Wonders of the World. Visit their guardian the Sphinx with the body of a lion and head of a human. Visit the Papyrus Institute to see how the ancient craft of papyrus used to be made. Afternoon continue to visit the masterpieces of ancient artefacts in the Egyptian Museum. This museum houses one of the largest collections of ancient Egyptian artefacts including the famous treasures of King Tut Ankhamoun. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 Cairo-Aswan: After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure to explore this exciting city. Evening transfer to the sleeper train station for departure to Aswan.
Day 4 Aswan-Nile Cruise: You will enjoy a sumptuous breakfast onboard the train while you arrive into Aswan. On arrival Concept Voyages’ representatives will meet and assist you and transfer you to Nile Cruise terminal to board the Nile Cruise ship. From here you will enjoy a 3 night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor. After embarking enjoy a delicious lunch onboard the cruise ship. Evening visit the High Dam, the pride of Aswan and a structure of the utmost ingenuity while sailing. This is where Aswan ends and Nubia begins. An ideal panoramic view of Aswan can be seen from here. Continue by motorboat to visit Philae Temple, one of the best-preserved Temples and rebuilt stone by stone on an island. Sail to Kom Ombo. On arrival visit Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to the two Gods Horus and Sobek. This temple is unique as it is actually a fusion of two temples with two separate gateways and one of the first chapels. Later sail to Edfu. Enjoy your dinner on board and overnights stay on Nile Cruise ship.
Day 5 Nile Cruise: After enjoying a sumptuous buffet breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the God Horus. Sail to Esna and cross the "lock" which regulates the water level of the Nile while ships pass through onto Luxor. Continue sailing to Luxor while you enjoy your dinner. Overnight onboard your Nile Cruise Ship.
Day 6 Nile Cruise: After a filling buffet breakfast, you will visit the West Bank of the Nile. The first stop is the Colossi of Memnon. These two magnificent giant statues are all that remains of the mortuary Temple of Amenhophis III. Legend has it that they would "sing at sunrise" because of the unique weaseling sound caused by the wind passed through the rock structure. Continue to the Royal Tombs at the Valley of the Kings. This is where generations of Pharaohs were buried along with their hidden treasures. See the tombs; articulate paintings and sarcophaguses of these great kings. Proceed for the Temple of Hatchepsut (Dier El Bahari). This magnificent tombs belong to Queen Hatchepsut the only woman Pharaoh to have ruled Egypt. This monument will leave you in awe as it appears to be engraved into a giant mountain. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay onboard.
Day 7 Luxor-Cairo departure: After breakfast, disembarkation and transfer to the Luxor Airport for boarding connecting flight to Cairo to onward destination.
