Day 1 Siem Reap: Meet and greet at Siem Reap airport by Concept
Voyages' representative and transfer to hotel for overnight stay. Later
visit Le Artisan D’Angkor Center, a place
where traditional handicrafts and sculptures are made. Later you will
experience sunset view on Bakheng Hill where
you also can get a great view of Angkor Wat landscape. After dinner
overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 Siem Reap: After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of
Angkor temples. Visit South Gate of
Angkor Thom, the last capital of Angkor
Period (AD 802-1432) until the 15th century. Visit
Bayon Temple, one of the most popular sites in Angkor complex. Over
200 large faces caved on the 54 towers, which at that time represents the
54 provinces in The Khmer Empire, give this temple its majestic character.
Bapoun Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, Terrace of
Elephant, Terrace of Leper King, Woman and Man Pond, Royal Palace Temple.
Afternoon, proceed to visit Ta Prohm Temple
was built in AD 1186 by King Jayavarman VII. Trunks of trees twist amongst
stone pillars, and spread their gigantic roots over, under and in between
the stones, probing walls and terraces apart, make this temple even more
extractive and worth visiting. The next temple that you can not miss to
visit is Angkor Wat Temple, one of the seven
wonders and the greatest temple in the world. After the tour,
you can relax and enjoy buffet dinner with Khmer
Traditional dance show (Amazon restaurant). Overnight stay at
hotel.
Day 3 Siem Reap-Phnom Penh: Breakfast at hotel, transfer to
Phnom Penh by express coach. Enroute you will
visit Kompong Kdey Ancient Bridge, built in
12th century during the reign of King Jayavarman VII, this is possibly the
best example of the remaining 800 years old ancient bridges in Cambodia,
and Skun area best known as Spider Market
where local people selling fried spider. Lunch in Phnom Penh and check in
at hotel, asssisted by Concept Voyages' representative. Afternoon, visit
Royal Palace & Silver Pagodia - Royal Palace
built in 1866 on the site of the former citadel, is a crowning example of
Cambodian architecture because it is the official residence of Khmer’s
King. Silver Pagoda was named because of the
5000 silver tiles (each weighing 1kg) in the floor of the temple. Also on
display is the holiest Buddha image in Cambodia,
Preah Keo (the Emerald Buddha). Then continue to visit
Toul Sleng, a memorial to the madness of
Khmer Rouge Regime. Later, you will visit Independent Monument which was
inaugurated in 1958 to celebrate Cambodia’s independence from French rule
and commemorate the soul of combatants who laid down their lives for
freedom of the country. Then, try your luck at Naga
Casino Resort ($4 coupon). After dinner overnight stay at Phnom
Penh hotel.
Day 4 Phnom Penh departure: After breakfast at hotel, checkout and
transfer to airport for departure.
